When Burnout Settles In

Burnout can feel like more than tired. It can feel like your mind is still running while your body is quietly asking for less. It can show up as irritability, numbness, exhaustion, disconnection, or a heaviness that makes simple things feel complicated.

This experience is not here to push you into motivation or ask you to “get back on track.” It is here to offer a steady place to notice what is present—without judgment, without urgency, and without the pressure to make it mean something immediately.

You may write a lot, or hardly at all. You may move slowly, skip pages, return later, or simply sit with the words. There is no right way to use this.

Begin wherever you are. Let that be enough for now.
